My Warrnambool Trip Day 1

We left for our first family holiday today...Warrnambool. It takes about 4 hours to get there from Melbourne, depending on what route you take. We drove this way, which was via Colac. Mum and Dad wanted to take me to the Red Rock Scenic Reserve, a major volcanic complex....

As you can see, opening your mouth at a moments notice is catching...

Red Rock also gave great views of Australia's largest inland lake, Corangamite...

We then continued the drive to Warrnambool, arriving in the City Centre about an hour and a half after leaving Red Rock...

After taking in the sites of Warrnambool we headed down the road to Lake Pertobe Adventure Park, where they had boat rides, playground, and GREAT fish n chips...

And to finish off the day we headed lastly to Break Water, a fishing port...

By the end of all that I was glad to have a stretch and rest-up on the King-sized bed in our motel room, the Country Comfort Inn...

And even though I was so excited to sleep on the bed, I actually had my own...

Meanwhile, Mummy & Daddy enjoyed room service. Mummy's review of the Oysters Kilpatrick, Lamb Madras, Kangaroo & Peanut Butter Cheesecake an be read here...

I've got another busy day tomorrow, so goodnight everyone...
